Text in English, French, and German Toon minder Recensie(s) Het boek laat zien dat de lijn tussen architectuur en kunst steeds dunner wordt; architecten worden dankzij de computer steeds meer kunstenaar. Soms is zelfs de scheiding tussen architect en kunstenaar niet meer te maken. Het boek begint met een inleidend essay en vervolgens passeren van zo'n 40 bureaus enkele belangrijke recente projecten de revue. Naast Ando, Gehry, Calatrava, Ito en Koolhaas zijn er ook van vele andere bureaus projecten - ook in Nederland - in dit boek te vinden. Kleurenfoto's van de projecten geven een goed beeld van de besproken ontwerpen. De uitgave is drietalig, waardoor het afzetgebied groter is, maar het kan soms ook licht irriterend werken. Een goed overzicht van de hedendaagse architectuur en de bureaus die daarvoor verantwoordelijk zijn. In deze herdruk in kleiner formaat zijn 20 bureaus weggelaten; de grote namen zijn gehandhaafd. Geen register, kleine druk.
