Key field tips provide useful information in seperating almost identical species which adds to your safety if you use mushrooms as a food. All species are described in family groups. This book will be a useful edition to any Fungi fanciers book collection as there is a lot of scientific information in it. It will however bring interest to any walk at most times of the year and once you get your eye in and start actively looking for fungi it's surprising what and how many you will notice.
