Rudolf Semmler has kept a diary about Goebbels, Minister of Propaganda. The idea of this diary was brought up by a foreign correspondent, working at the Ministry of Propaganda. After the war the book popped up in the house of his wife, Semmler was supposed to be a prisoner of war in Russia.
