Beschrijving

The largest and heaviest vehicle of the German armored forces used in combat during World War II was the self-propelled gun 12.8 cm Pak L/55 Sd Kfz 186 Panzejager "Tiger" Ausf. B, named "Jagdtiger" according to Adolf Hitler's order of February 26, 1945. The "Jagdtigers" produced in the last months of the war no longer played such a role in combat operations as the "Tigers" or "Panthers". The self-propelled guns "Jagdtiger", although not used on a large scale and only on the Western Front, were nevertheless a dangerous weapon, capable of destroying any Allied armored vehicle, including Soviet heavy self-propelled guns such as ISU-122, ISU-152 and heavy tanks.
