Installation of Linux Mint on old laptop (macbook air / pro, windows) which are no longer supported, or maybe you would like to get out of big tech and try support open-source software!

Linux can seem intimidating at first, though some versions of Linux are very accessible and can be use as daily driver system.
LinuxMint is one of them, the installation itself takes roughly 20-30min and then a few tweaks to get it in order, so around 1hour to install it on your computer.

Depending on your current system (old/new CPU, how much RAM) I propose two different versions of LinuxMint:
- xfce: lightweight, fast, 'old' look as not too modern
- cinnamon: more customizable and fully featured version

During the installation, while waiting, I will show you on a secondary laptop how your laptop will look and how it works.

If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them. If you look for a laptop with linux already installed, I might have some in stock.

If you want a USB key for backup I can provide one.
- USB-A 128gb storage, formatted for linux system only = €40
