Processor:

The AMD FX-8320 is a desktop processor with 8 cores. It is part of the FX lineup, using the Vishera architecture with Socket AM3+. FX-8320 has 8 MB of L3 cache and operates at 3.5 GHz by default, but can boost up to 4 GHz, depending on the workload. AMD is building the FX-8320 on a 32 nm production process using 1,200 million transistors. You may freely adjust the unlocked multiplier on FX-8320, which simplifies overclocking greatly, as you can easily dial in any overclocking frequency.
AMD's processor supports DDR3 memory with a dual-channel interface. For communication with other components in the computer, FX-8320 uses a PCI-Express Gen 2 connection. Although the processor doesn't come with integrated graphics, certain motherboards with compatible chipsets can provide this capability.
Hardware virtualization is available on the FX-8320, which greatly improves virtual machine performance. Programs using Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX) will run on this processor, boosting performance for calculation-heavy applications.


Videokaart:

The Radeon HD 4870 is a performance-segment graphics card. Built on the 55 nm process, and based on the RV770 graphics processor, in its RV770 XT variant, the card supports DirectX 10.1. Since Radeon HD 4870 does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, it might not be able to run all the latest games. The RV770 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 256 mm² and 956 million transistors. It features 800 shading units, 40 texture mapping units, and 16 ROPs. ATI has paired 512 MB GDDR5 memory with the Radeon HD 4870, which are connected using a 256-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 750 MHz, memory is running at 900 MHz (3.6 Gbps effective).
Being a dual-slot card, the ATI Radeon HD 4870 draws power from 2x 6-pin power connectors, with power draw rated at 150 W maximum. Display outputs include: 2x DVI, 1x S-Video. Radeon HD 4870 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 2.0 x16 interface. The card's dimensions are 241 mm x 111 mm x 40 mm, and it features a dual-slot cooling solution.
