The CS073-14905-04 is a Cisco UCS C220 M4 8-bay SFF SAS/SATA backplane board, used inside enterprise rack servers to connect and manage front-loading storage drives. It is a passive internal hardware component (not a PCIe card or external device) that provides the electrical and data interface for up to 8× 2.5-inch hot-swappable drives in the server’s front drive cage.
