For sale: a Microtek ScanMaker 8700 flatbed scanner, complete with a full set of film holders and scanning trays.
Although it can also be used as a conventional flatbed scanner, I mainly used it for scanning film, particularly large-format negatives and transparencies.
One of its advantages is the transparent film tray system, which allows film to be scanned without placing it directly against the scanner glass. This avoids the Newton ring problems that can occur when film comes into contact with glass.

I personally used it mainly for scanning 4×5 and 8×10 large-format film, making it particularly interesting for photographers working with large-format negatives and transparencies.
Condition and compatibility
Just tested and confirmed working.
Works properly with VueScan scanning software.
Supplied with all the film holders and trays listed above.
Note - Negative films (4X5) shown #1, 2, 5 are not included. They are used for testing the scanner function.
