Acer Nitro 5 (2021) — Ryzen 9 5900HX / RTX 3080 8GB
Originally bought new at 2300€
Selling my Acer Nitro 5. Strong specs and very well looked after.
but full honesty up front: the laptop’s battery currently does NOT charge, the laptop works perfectly normal when plugged in.
Please read everything before messaging.
Specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX (8c/16t)
- GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3080 8GB VRAM
- RAM: 32GB Corsair DDR4 3200MHz
- Storage: 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD
- Freshly repasted with PTM7950 (premium phase-change material — great long-term temps)
- Brand new original battery installed
- chassis in very good shape
- Comes with Original charger 180W + new 240W charger from Acer Helios both work.
The defect (important):
A power event damaged the charging IC / EC on the motherboard. The laptop still works perfectly fine
I've installed a new original battery, but it will not charge until the charging IC is replaced — this is a board-level / microsoldering repair.
It still powers on and runs normally on the AC adapter.
I can install fresh windows 10 or 11, up to your choice, with all the necessary drivers
No trades. Open to negotiations
