Ziggy's mother was found abandoned in a village with 5 puppies. She found shelter under a rusty abandoned car near a very busy road. She and her puppies were in danger all the time. I noticed the mama dog scanning the entire village to find food for her babies. I stoped and feed her a few times and then I followed her to see where she is settled, so I found the babies. The mama dog impressed me the most when she came to the babies with a salami bar, put it down on the ground for the babies to eat and she was was just looking at them eating. I cried with deep emotion and love for her.
They were about 4 or 5 weeks old. At the beggining they were skittish and hiding under the car but later some friends helped me catch all of them. One puppy was taken by somebody from the village, but the mama dog and the other 4 puppies were taken by me. After 3 months the mama dog was adopted în England. Ziggy is one of her puppies. He was and still is very shy, he comes to me but he does not stay to pe petted. If I catch him he lets me pet him and enjoys that. He needs to be socialized more. He is very playful, energetic and happy dog. He is friendly with other dogs and he has never bitten anybody or another dog.
