Healthy and well-fed, L046 Zebra Plecos are one of the most iconic and sought-after plecos in the hobby. These beautiful black and white striped fish are perfect for peaceful tropical freshwater aquariums and typically grow up to around 8-10 cm. They thrive in warm, clean, well-oxygenated water with temperatures between 27-31°C and a pH of 6.0-7.5.
They are peaceful but territorial towards their own kind, especially around caves, so plenty of hiding spots such as rocks, wood, and breeding caves are recommended.
Diet: Omnivorous, with a preference for protein-rich foods such as frozen food, high-quality dry food, Artemia, bloodworms, and shrimp-based foods.
