it has never been used outside. We only used it a few times indoors to get the pet used to it, so it is completely clean. Openings & zippers: the right side opens fully, and the left side opens halfway. It also has a mesh pocket on the side for water bottles or accessories. On the top opening, there are two zipper sliders, but one of them came off. However, the other zipper works perfectly, and the top opens and closes completely with no issues. Inside base: inside the thin white mat, there was a stiff piece of cardboard. It broke apart when i washed it. If you cut and slide a new piece of stiff cardboard inside, the bag will stand much better and be more functional.
