Halsbandparkiet Pepper | Please read the desc carefully

Please NOTE – This ad is only for experienced bird owners who already have at least one ring-necked parakeet.

Meet Pepper, a ~5-year-old male parrot.He is partially tamed—he can sit on your shoulder, head, or hand and eat food from your hand. Sometimes, when he's in a cozy mood, he even allows gentle petting.
Pepper can mimic some funny sounds (and a few Slavic words).

Completely healthy (was examined at Utrecht University a month ago and even received a 10-day course of antibiotics on the doctor's advice). Not infected with circovirus (test was conducted).

This parrot came with us from Ukraine 3.5 years ago. He is very funny but also has his own stubborn personality (which is typical for all parrots of this species). The only reason we are rehoming him is that he needs a companion. We can see that he is unhappy being alone with us—he is constantly looking for another parrot everywhere, in toys, reflections, etc.—but unfortunately, we are unable to get a second ring-necked parrot at this time.Therefore, we are looking for a family with experience in keeping birds who already have at least one ring-necked parrot so they can bond and live in a real flock. This is a very difficult decision for us because he is a true member of our family, but watching him try to find a companion in inanimate objects is even harder.


We just hope that somewhere out there, there is a family whose parrots will happily welcome him into their flock, allowing him to live a joyful life among his own kind.

He comes with his cage, favorite toys, and tons of information about his behavioral patterns.
