The new style overloads cannot be plugged into the old style contactors. The Old style overload relays with the suffix cannot be directly crossed over to a new style overload.
OldStyle overload Relay is succeeded and obsolete by the manufacturer.

Motor protector Thermal overload relays are used to protect motors from excessive heat resulting from sustained motoroverload, too rapid cycling a stalled rotor or electrical faillure.The percentage of overload determines the length of time required to open the circuit.
