26" Staal Hardtail Mountainbike

This is a ready to ride prime example of a classic steel hard tail from the UK around 2005.
Just at the time when slacker long geometry and wide bars were coming in but with the nimbleness of 26" wheels.
PLEASE NOTE. BIKE IS COMPLETE AND READY FOR USE. PHOTOS WITH BLACK BACKGROUND MOST RECENT (after test ride post rebuild).
The Frame is fully re-sprayed , restored with professional 2k lacquer and the internal tubes coated with cavity wax to protect against corrosion.
Brand new Shimano hollow tech Bottom bracket fitted, new bearings installed in the Cane Creak headset. Front wheel is almost completely new. Rear wheel replaced 2 years ago, both tight and true. Brand new tyres fitted. Bike has been fully stripped and rebuilt and test ridden to check full functionality.

The bike is Disc compatible if you want that. The bike also comes with original OnOne Rigid suspension corrected Cromoly forks. Fitted are Rockshox Reba 100mm travel air fork with compression and rebound, remote lockout. The size is 18".

The photos and geometry give you extra info. Make no mistake this is now verging on classic bike territory but still pretty good on mild technical terrain.

Crankstel: Deore Converted to double chainring
Brakes: V- Avid Front , Specialized Rear
Rims: Shimano Mach 32 Spoke Front is brand new, rear about 2 years old still true.
Post: Twelfty 350mm long (fits riders up to 183cm)
I brought it from the UK when I moved here.
The geometry is not exactly retro as is quite long top tube and so still rides well.
