Ceramic Workshop in Arnhem (Keramiek Workshop)

Come and join a cosy ceramic workshop in Arnhem.

On tuesdays I teach multiple hand sculpting techniques such as pinch pottery, coil and slab building. After some explanation everyone can dive into creating their desired pieces and of course I'm there to help or answer any additional questions through the process. When you're done with the sculpting process you can decide if you would simply like to have it glazed with a transparent layer (i do this myself after the piece went through the first firing) or to join a followup class where you can decorate your creation yourself.
For this workshop i provide the clay, tools, aprons and a good atmosphere to work in.

On Fridays I provide a pottery painting workshop where you can choose one item from various objects like mugs, bowls and plates to decorate (it is possible to purchase additional pieces on the spot). You can choose from about 30 glaze colors so you can make your design as colorful or simple as you want to. For this workshop i provide the pottery objects, glazes, brushes, and aprons.

You can also book a group session with flexible date and time from a minimum of 3 and maximum of 8 people.

All my workshops I like to start with a brief and easygoing introduction of all the participants to break the ice and allow us to have a fun time together. I always like to adjust to the energy of the group so everyone is as comfortable as possible. We can chat, listen to music or just quietly focus on creating. The idea is to simply have a good time. I also provide some hot tea, coffee and biscuits for everyone. The end results of both classes will be fired by me and i will let you know when it is ready to be picked up. One class is €45 and three classes are €120 per person. In case of booking three classes you can decide which workshops you want to attend.
