.Hey fellow succulent friends!

Here's another succulent I really love, Sedum hirsutum; it's a species belonging to the Crassulaceae family. Its small, compact rosettes grow in dense cushions, and if you pay careful attention its small and fleshy leaves are covered in fine hairs (hence the species name "hirsutum," which means hairy). The leaves are typically green (as mine in the photos) but can take on reddish/orange hues in bright light or cooler temperatures.

» SHIPPING & PACKAGING«
– Only shipping within EU, with trackable shipping
– Shipping every Monday, to avoid plants being stored in warehouses over the weekend
– Plants/leaves will be sent with a minimum of soil and without pot, wrapped with care
– Won't ship, in case of a heatwave/temperatures close to 0°C in Europe
– Plants will be sent wrapped with care to be isolated from heat/cold using little or reused plastic wrapping. Out of choice, I don't use heatpacks, as they are very contain very polluting compounds once used and thrown away. Thus, if temperatures are about to fall to 1-5°C, I won't send your package and fully refund you.
– If you are unhappy with your purchase please let me know. Contact me via a message within 24h of the arrival, with a photo of the plant (as well as the package if it’s damaged) so I can resolve the issue for you as quickly as possible. Please note some plants might not look their best after a long travel, but under great care they will flourish soon again!

♥ CARE ♥
– Light: Succulents require abundant, bright and direct sun for stems full of frequent leaves and need at least 6h/day in a west/south window or outdoors in the sun. Otherwise they should stay under artificial light 8h/day;
– Soil & Watering: Succulents do best in pots with draining holes filled with a well draining substrate that doesn't retain much moisture, such as coco coir/potting soil mixed with plenty of pumice/perlite and/or sand. Only water when the substrate is completely dry and without wetting the leaf/baby plant itself, to avoid root rot;
– Leaf propagation: Simply lay the leaves on well draining soil and (depending on the species) roots and babies should appear in a few weeks. If the cutting has roots plant in slightly moist well draining soil mix. Place it in a warm environment with good light and gradually increase the light level until it has adjusted to its new home. Once the babies lose their mother leaf, you can treat them like a normal succulent

Remember that the chubbier plant the more sensitive it is to over watering, and with water control and lots of light they will become compact and colorful! ツ
