Selling this Begonia Rex ‘Kohala Red’ as I’m cutting down on the number of plants I have.
It’s a Rex-cultorum hybrid, mostly grown for its foliage with deep burgundy-red leaves with dark veins and a bit of a metallic-like look. Grows well indoors and doesn’t take up much space unless you grow it super bushy which they can! Grows very pretty, little pink flowers very regulary.
• Freshly repotted but acclimated in a clear plastic nursery pot so you can easily see when to water and watch the roots doing their thing.
• Pest-free and in great shape.
• Has been growing in bright, indirect light. If the light is not enough the new leaves will lose their color so you can easily spot if it‘s not happy.
Care is pretty standard for a Rex begonia:
• Likes humidity but does fine in average indoor conditions (like mine).
• Keep the soil slightly moist but not too wet.
• Avoid direct sun because the leaves might scorch.
