Kai Kristiansen teak wall unit for Feldballes Møbelfabrik

• Selling my beloved Kai Kristiansen wall system from the 1960's, which has been with me for the past 13 years. Overall dimensions 345cm wide x 175 high.

This wall system consists of 9 shelves with dimensions 85cm wide x 24cm deep.

3 shelves with dimensions 85cm wide x 18cm deep.

A desk with dimensions 85cm wide x 32cm deep.

A lecture shelf dimensions 85cm wide x 32cm deep.

A wall cabinets with glass sliding doors and height-adjustable shelves and 85cm wide x 32cm deep x 36cm high.

A base unit with sliding doors and height-adjustable shelves inside, drawer inside, dimensions 85w x 45d and 50h. And 5 wall rails of 175cm length.

The whole is in very good condition with some light scratches and blemishes consistent with age. Please look at photos 9,10,11,12 for the most visible damages.

Due to the delicate nature of the wall system, this object is required to be picked up, personally or by a courier organized by the buyer. The price is negotiable 

Danish designer Kai Kristiansen (1929-2023) opened his own studio at the age of 26 in the Danish modern style, in which he preferred to work with beautifully combined teak and rosewood materials. His modular FM Reolsystem, which he designed in 1957 for Feldballe Møbelfabrik, became a worldwide success, just like that of Poul Cadovius.
