⭐️ Designed by Lars Schiøler for P.J. Høyrup A/S in the 1970s, this rare “Ballet” pendant lamp is a stunning example of sculptural Danish lighting. Composed of interlocking folded PVC slats, the shade forms a rhythmic, almost floral shape that diffuses light in a soft, ambient glow. These lamps are rarely found today due to their delicate construction – few have survived in such beautiful condition.

⭐️ Condition: Good vintage condition. Some light signs of wear consistent with age. The lamp has been fully cleaned and checked. Wiring has been inspected and replaced where needed, with a new white textile power cord installed for safe use.

⭐️ Deze zeldzame “Ballet” hanglamp, ontworpen door Lars Schiøler voor P.J. Høyrup A/S in de jaren ’70, is een prachtig voorbeeld van sculpturaal Deens design. De lamp is opgebouwd uit gevouwen PVC lamellen die samen een ritmisch, bloemachtig patroon vormen en zorgen voor een zachte, sfeervolle lichtverspreiding. Door het fragiele karakter van het materiaal zijn er maar weinig exemplaren bewaard gebleven – zeker in deze staat.
