Afghan - Kelim - 200 cm - 96 cm

This beautiful Kelim is from Afghanistan (Turkoman) and is around 100 years old. I bought it in Lahore, Pakistan in 1991. For more details, please see the buying certificate (second last picture).
As you can see, it is in a verry good condition. The colors are still vivid as one can see if you compare the upside with the back of the carpet (see pictures). There are no stains and given its age, the Kelim has no significant traces of wear and tear despite its age. It is woven from camel and sheep wool.

The Kelim combines beautiful in a modern interieur (last picture) but is for sale, because in our new apartment it doesn’t fit anymore.
TRANSPORT: The shipment costs offered are for basic shipment (insured) within Switzerland. I will ship within Europe (insured) via Swiss post, other prices are JUST AN INDICATION. Cost on top of the buying price for the object.
