Vintage 2x Kehra Riihimaki Finnish Glass Candle Holders

The Kehrä candleholder was designed by Nanny Still and manufactured by Riihimäki Glassworks in the 1980s. The Kehrä candleholder, patterned with a beautiful organic surface texture, is made of pressed glass. Suitable for a small candle. Can be some traces of candle wax left. Sold without candles. Great vintage condition.

Riihimäen Lasi was a respected glassworks factory in Finland, operating from 1910 to 1990. The production ranged from household glassware to high quality design glass and crystal. The most known designers working for Riihimäen Lasi were Gunnel Nyman, Timo Sarpaneva, Aimo Okkolin, Erkkitapio Siiroinen, Nanny Still and Helena Tynell. Nowadays many of their products are collectables. Style is similar to early Iittala works, some designers were the same.
