This flauto traverso (baroque flute) was crafted by Rudolf Tutz (1940–2017), a renowned maker from Innsbruck, Austria.
Tutz was internationally recognized as a leading master in the field of historical woodwind instrument making and restoration, and his instruments have been cherished by many distinguished performers.
This instrument offers a bright and clear tone, yet unlike the modern flute’s brilliance, it is characterized by a warm, soft, and gracefully delicate sound.
It has been well cared for and is in excellent condition.
As I have rarely used it myself, I have decided to pass it on to someone who will make good use of it.
