This flauto traverso (baroque flute) was crafted by Rudolf Tutz (1940–2017), a renowned maker from Innsbruck, Austria.

Tutz was internationally recognized as a leading master in the field of historical woodwind instrument making and restoration, and his instruments have been cherished by many distinguished performers. This instrument is an increadably beuatiful copy of the Rottenburgh original.
This instrument offers a bright and clear tone, yet unlike the modern flute’s brilliance, it is characterized by a warm, soft, and gracefully delicate sound.
It has been well cared for and is in excellent condition.
I have rarely used it myself and because of my age, I have decided to pass it on to someone who will make good use of it.
