MARTIN COMMITTEE LARGE BORE

Hello,

From my private collection another gem... This one is trully one of the best horns I've played. It's a MARTIN COMMITTEE L bore. It's a completely different instrument compared to the M bore Committee (stamped 2 or without number on the valve casing). This one has stamped number 3 on the valve casing, it has more sound and is more open, especially in the upper register. The dynamic range and the feeling are astonishing. There is no trumpet with that kind of feeling 100%, many teied to copy but nobody succeeded.
The valves are excellent, clean, fast and precise, excellent compression. Original factory lacquer 80% (VERY IMPORTANT), no dents. All slides free and smooth...

If you want a Chris Botti sound, this is it.
But... This horn can do many more things, from classical to commercial. Just put a different mouthpiece on it. The sound is simply WOW, another world, so full and warm. The feeling of this instrument when you play it is simply "play me more, play me more"... I can't describe even if I have to write a book... This horn just wants to be played more and more.

I owned a total of 12 Martin Committees in my life and this is for sure "The One" without a doubt.
With the horn comes his original Martin case in very good condition (300/400€ value), a reserve original kit of springs + felts and if you want a Holton Heim mouthpiece for 100 euros more. It's the combination Miles used and yeah, this is it. I forgot to mention that this horn plays AMAZING with mutes. Apsolutely the best I've ever played.
To be short, put a Harmon wah wah and you have the closest Miles Davis sound you can have.
