Bill Nunn bought it from Steve Lanick, a skilled woodworker who has built and restored other organs. The organ was fully disassembled — down to the keys — packed in several boxes with no logical order, with parts of the organ missing and even including parts from other organs. Bill described it: "It was like several jigsaw puzzles all mixed together."

Bill stated that restoring this organ was a big learning experience for him. He went to England to consult Russell Wattam and Andrew Pilmer, who joined in the restoration effort. Russell made the missing pipes and the glockenspiel in the Gavioli style, and they both came to Skyrock Farm to install the last parts and tune the organ.

The organ originally came with many old books as well as about 40 meters of partial books (some original 1904 Gavioli, and some Gaudin and Gasparini arranged for 57 keys). These were salvaged for recutting with Andrew Pilmer filling in the missing sections. The organ is currently in good playing condition and comes with 35 books total — 15 really old and 20 by Tom Meijer and Andrew Pilmer. It features the following instruments on 196 pipes: violin, flute, saxophone, piccolo, clarinet, cello, viola, and trombone, and the following percussion instruments: bass drum, cymbal, snare drum, and glockenspiel.

The organ facade is currently in excellent visual condition, showing only minor natural wear and a few small to medium cracks in the wood. It features beautiful oil paintwork, gold and silver leaf decoration, metallic golden Gavioli medallions, and three solid wood organ figures — with the central figure featuring an articulating arm. A custom-built wooden platform is included with the organ; it measures 20 × 330 × 130 cm.
