The Arion DDS-1 is a rare and quirky digital delay and sampler pedal from the 1980s, made in Japan. It offers up to one second of delay and includes a basic sampling/looping function — quite advanced for its time. With controls for Delay Time, Feedback, Delay Level, and a Mode switch, it allows for ambient echoes, short loops, and experimental textures. Its lo-fi digital character and unusual features make it a cult favorite among fans of vintage and unconventional pedals.
