The "Shin-Ei Companion FY-2", which was the basis for SASORI, is a fuzz pedal manufactured from the late 1960s to the early 1970s that is characterized by its rich overtones, bite, and large housing. The FUZZ control is very sensitive, and one of its unique features is that even when raised to the maximum value, it does not exceed unity gain.

SASORI offers a poisonous fuzz tone as his name suggests, but at the heart of it is his FY-2. Excellent for both chord and lead playing styles, the sound is harmonically rich and thick, like the growl of a synth gate, with a chainsaw edge but without the ice pick sound. I will play. By combining it with his TONE knob that controls the midrange, you can create a wider range of sounds.
