70’s East German discrete broadcast mixing console.

All channels work, very simple discrete circuitry so relatively easy to mod. There’s a lot of extra room on the channel-strips and in the desk itself. It has a very warm and punchy sound, and the saturation of the pre-amps is really cool. The channel-strips have very nice big (UP 207 M) Pikatron Transformers, and the circuit uses mainly BC5478 transistors. To my ears desks like this sound very different then IC-op-amp based desks. The EQ is a passive high and low self, and has a very smooth- organic sound to it. Very silky!

There is 16 Mic channels, and 3 line-channels. This desk came from an old radio station from Germany in the 70’s. I had plans to do some mods on this desk (like direct outs) but never got the time to do that, that’s why I’m selling it.

The front pannel has extra switches and potentiometers which most of are currently not in use. It does have wiring, so could be used / customized for all kinds of things.

Back connectors are DIN, have some din connectors with it to convert to XLR's. Back plates easy to remove, change for XLR's, add extra other connectors.
