This is a rare condenser microphone made in the early 2000s. Very pretty with a real gold grill on the lollipop head.
It was meant to emulate a Neumann U47 tube microphone. It doesn’t. lol
But it still sounds nice. Bright, clear, open and 3D.
It’s well made and comes with a nice wooden box and metal holder.
It sounds good for Vocals, Guitar, and Acoustic instruments.
It was featured in the Recording magazine in 2001 with a review by Howard Massey stating it’s, “A distinctive tool that should occupy a place of honor in any home studio.”
