This generates acid lines that offer full control over density, velocity, key, etc. – but as you can imagine, you can put this to use for all kinds of sequence generating kinds of stuff kind of. Don't connect it to anything 303ish and it does leads, or doomy bass, or whatever, all generated in key and controllable etc. It does a lot more (I just found out the new firmware offers 3 extra sequencers!), I suggest you look up the manual(s) online if you're interested in A LOT OF FUN.

because that it is. So much so, that I immediately decided to start saving up for its big sister, the NGEN. Hope it's not overkill. This really does all and more I need for now, I guess. Anyway, a great way to find out if this is something for you (controllable random-but-not-too-random sequencing de luxe).
