Vintage Magic Velonia Archtop
Venlonia was founded by violin maker Hay Schreurs (1921-2002), a woodworker who started building mandolins and violins at the age of fifteen. In 1939 he decides to set up a company and from 1945 he mainly produces guitars. In 1959 he starts building guitars in a workshop. At its peak, the company employs more than 16 people and Venlonia produces tens of thousands of guitars per year.
Venlonia produced mandolins, mandolas, banjos, banjolas, guitars under the brand names: Venlonia, Magic (including the Magic m2v) and Famos. The last name is a reference to Framus, a German guitar brand whose name and logo are very similar.
This archtop is completely original and has discolored beautifully over the years, the body is fully intact & has a nice relic over the entire guitar.
The frets are professionally leveled & fitted with new steel strings.
The body & fretboard are oiled and ready for its next evening!
The guitar will be carefully packaged and shipped.
