The EWC30PDE is an Exotic Wood series acoustic-electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2007. It was produced in China. This guitar dates from 2008-2010 and has great reviews on the web.
It is part of the EWC compact line featuring a body thats smaller in size and shallower in depth than the original EW's for increased comfort and acoustic projection.
The EWC30PDE features an EW mini body with a soft Florentine cutaway constructed of padauk top with wooden binding on padauk sides and back with a resonant low gloss finish. The round soundhole has an abalone rosette. It has a mahogany neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with a special acrylic pearloid inlay at the twelfth fret. Components include an Ivorex II compensated saddle in a rosewood bridge, Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, an Ivorex II nut, and chrome Ibanez Smooth Tuner AS die-cast tuning machines.
Electronics consist of a B-Band UST undersaddle pickup connected to an Ibanez SRTn preamp with notch filter and onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery and feeding balanced XLR and ¼" outputs.
