Original Framus 'Camping King' 12 string acoustic guitar from 1964 made to look like the more desirable 'Hootenanny' model as used by John Lennon. Would be great to add to a Beatles enthusiast/guitar collector or for someone to use and enjoy.
I stripped the top and has been clear-coated. Added a water transfer Rosette-effect decal. Some of these models had a pickup installed with 3 control knobs, these have been removed. Padded ig-bag included.
These guitars have a flat fretboard and this model could use a re-fret but it still plays and gives you that unmistakable Beatles sound!
Now Framus have re-issued the Hootenanny I am looking to get the new model as it will be used in a Beatles tribute band.
