For sale; a unique1996 Fender 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Jazz with a Sunburst finish in mint condition. It comes supplied in the original Fender case with the memorative decal and all the original supplies, like the original Fender strap with the gold plated straplocks. Case comes with orange plush interior and vintage Fender nameplate.

Released in 1996 to celebrate 50 years of Fender Musical Instruments, the 50th Anniversary Jazz was produced as a Limited Edition Model with only 500 basses produced. Each bass was shipped with its own individually numbered commemorative gold neck plate. This bass is numbered 012 of 500.
Unique features to this model include the highly figured flame maple top and back to the alder string-through body finished in Antique Sunburst with gold hardware throughout. 

This is an excellent bass with a superb even sound right across the fretboard. This bass has tons of tone and the growl is fantastic. With both pickups and tone up full this bass really sings with loads of top-end, the mids punch through and the deep bottom end holds it all together. This bass provides all tones from its legacy players, from Jaco to Geddy to Marcus to Flea to Family Man.
There are only very tiny signs of play-wear. The neck finish has no play-wear. The frets are very good. The truss rod works as it should and the neck is straight.
Fully set up with a set of new La Bella roundwound strings and a medium/low action giving great playability. Serial J012.
