Phillippe Berne electrostatique walnut basse

Retirement sale, my wife and I leave The Netherlands in December to live in Thailand, I can only take a few things with me,  so my prize collection of guitars, amps and pedals all has to go....No swaps or exchanges.  Here we have a very rare and unusual hand made fretless bass from French artisan luthier Philippe Berne. He made a very small batch of these Basses around 12-14 years ago and now only makes them on demand, when he has time... which it seems he seldom has.

Semi hollow walnut burl body, it is incredibly light and it’s extremely resonate. Has a quite a unique sound from its sensitive under saddle piezo pick up with only a volume control.

A very unusual bass for a very specific sound and style of play I never mastered. In immaculate conditon due to my lack of talent for playing Bass.

I have no case(it never came with one)  but I do have a nice padded bass bag, so pickup,  or I will deliver within a reasonable drive from Breda.
