What makes this bass so unique:

Many 5-string Warwicks from this era are heavy ("lead-heavy instruments"), but this one weighs only 4.0 kg. This is thanks to the exceptionally lightweight American swamp ash body and the hardware upgrades from Hipshot USA. As a result, it's extremely comfortable to play, even during long sessions, without compromising on tone and no neck dive.

Made in Germany (MIG): This model dates from the highly sought-after period before the major restructuring in 2010. After 18 years, the wood (American swamp ash body, ovangkol neck, wenge fingerboard) is optimally broken in and therefore significantly more dimensionally stable than on a new instrument.

Hipshot USA Upgrade: The original tuners have been replaced with Hipshot USA Ultralites (2012). This not only improves tuning stability but also prevents neck sag.

Neck Profile: The bass features the classic, robust Warwick C-profile (approx. 21 mm at the first fret). This provides excellent hand support and contributes to exceptional sustain.

Maintenance & Condition:

Some buyers are concerned about its age of 18 years, but with a Warwick, this is actually an advantage. The wood no longer warps, and the bass is in excellent condition.

Condition: Minor signs of wear and a few small dents in the soft swamp ash wood. This gives the instrument its unique charm and character. The neck is perfectly straight and the action is low.
