Offered for sale is my 1984 Steinberger L2 (Serial No. 1590), an original USA-made example of one of the most iconic and innovative basses ever produced.
Designed by Ned Steinberger, the L2 revolutionized bass design with its one-piece graphite composite construction, headless design, and dual active EMG pickups. Its remarkable tuning stability, sustain, and articulate tone have made it a favourite of legendary players including Geddy Lee, Sting, and Tony Levin.
