This guitar just screams class and vintage charm, seriously making a statement the moment you pull it out. The tone is just fantastic, thanks to those special Epiphone SwingBucker pickups. They’re incredibly versatile, giving you everything from a warm, smoky jazz tone to that snappy, bright rockabilly "twang" you want. You've got push/pull controls built right into the tone knobs, so you can instantly switch the pickup wiring from series to parallel.
And of course, it wouldn't be a Swingster without that gorgeous, licensed Bigsby vibrato tailpiece—the one with the cool "wire" arm that Chet Atkins loved. It lets you add those smooth, expressive dips and wobbles without fighting your tuning.
Speaking of stability, the construction is solid. It's a true hollow body, built mostly from layered maple for the body and a mahogany neck. This wood combination gives you great resonance and a clear, articulate sound. Plus, the LockTone Tune-o-matic bridge is pinned to the wooden base—a huge win because it prevents the bridge from moving when you use the Bigsby, keeping your intonation locked in.
It’s a guitar that crosses genres easily, which is why you see all kinds of players with it, like Izzy Stradlin of Guns N' Roses fame and the versatile Luis Alberto Spinetta. It's just a fantastic, feature-packed instrument.
Unfortunately, the original case is not included, comes with a simple soft bag - and honestly, quite worn - but still capable of protecting this instrument adequately.
