I bought this US-made Fender because of its ultra low noise and rosewood fingerboard.

As an audio engineer, I love instruments that sound like they're so close your ear they seem to be inside your head.

And as a guitar player, I love it when playing feels as soft, seemless and intimate as the sound.

Also, I love it when, on the instrument itself (not pedals/amps), I can find the perfect sound - and the double layered pickups (resulting in 10 pickup positions) do just that.

This machine is called Elite, and it's just that. No matter if you're looking to play the cleanest jazz sound in history, or looking for a sound that is so rich that when distorted, it becomes thick like honey.

I'm selling it because my focus shifted to keys and sound design lately. It remains my top choice for electric guitars, though, because, apart from the great playing, the low noise and double pickup ciruit allows you to get basically any electric guitar sound out of this machine.

It's in perfect condition, as I have always kept it in the case when not playing it, even during longer recording sessions. The lightweight case came with the guitar and is molded to exacty follow the shape of the guitar.
