Irregularity caused by die wear, on the coin, depicts metal deformation in the form of elongated lines.

During coin minting, there are significant dynamic stresses on the dies, which sometimes cause their damage in the form of cracks or even chips. Friction occurring between the surfaces of the dies and the coin disc leads to gradual wear of the dies. Contrary to appearances, mint destruction artifacts are highly sought after by collectors because their uniqueness makes them interesting and often very valuable due to their rarity and uniqueness.

Coin defects: separation of the middle ring, irregularly shaped stars, missing some arms, separation of the outer and inner rings with double strike on the right side of the internal rim of the coin, and double strike on the left side of the internal rim of the coin.

LËTZEBUERG Coin 2014 distorted and double struck, no date entirely 2014. No visible separation of the central part of the coin into two equal fields. The image of Henry the Great, Duke of Luxembourg, distorted with no clearly defined facial features. Missing three mint symbols. The shape of the coin is not round but distorted.

Four vertical external and internal thick grooves visible during press movement.

Reverse of the coin: rupture of the central ring.
Lack of clearly visible 6 vertical lines, and 6 stars under the Euro inscription, as well as the absence of a complete set of 6 stars and 6 vertical lines above the EURO inscription, and the absence of the digit 4 placed next to the EURO inscription.

There is a complete absence of the large digit 2 (coin denomination), and the European Union is entirely missing, only its fragmentary outlines remain.

Three vertical external thick deep thin grooves across the entire coin and two large and wide internal grooves of an unusual shape. All grooves were stamped during the pressing of the die and striking under enormous pressure.

An interesting and unique, very rare and unusual form of destruction of this coin.
