Ⰶ CROWN OF ST STEPHEN (1941-1944): HUNGARY ★ 1 PENGO 1944! MIKLOS HORTHY (1920-1944) UNC MINT LUSTRE!
Interesting coin of the last year before the victory over fascist Germany, receiving freedom from the USSR troops. The coin depicts Crown of St Stephen above the coat of arms is in aluminum and from admiral Miklos Horthy (1920-1944) rule. Note that the legend MAGYAR KIRÁLYSÁG means "Kingdom of Hungary". Despite of that Horthy was not a king! Switch of base denomination from silver to aluminum was copying of circulation of fascist Germany during the Great Patriotic War against the USSR.
