Omega Constellation Day-Date Chronometer Automatic

Here is a fabulous and rare all original gold capped 1972 Omega Constellation Chronometer Day-Date version.

The case presents as excellent.The movement is clean.

The stainless steel gold capped case has a screw-down back which is centred with the Omega Constellation emblem and houses the excellent, 23-jewel, automatic Omega calibre 1021 movement


Dial: Gloss gold with whited topped applied gold baton indexes, signed Omega Constellation Chronometer Officially Certified.
The gold dial is in excellent condition, with a gold Omega logo and emblem and barely any marks. It has faceted gold hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, wider markers at the poles. The baton hands are in fine condition. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock shows the weekday and the date. The date can be quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outer position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.


The stainless steel bezel is in great condition.
On the crystal is a small scratch

The gold capped stainless steel case with the original crown and heavy lugs is in fine condition, with a brushed face and sides and a polished facet. It shows light overall wear. The stainless steel case back is in excellent condition, with a well preserved gold Constellation logo in center,i am not sure if it's the original one wich belongs to the watch.


Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 1021 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day.

The 1021 movement has 23 jewels, day, quickset date, chronometer,sweep seconds.

The watch was fully serviced in June 2025.
