Ping Zing irons. At launch, this was Ping's most extremely weighted iron / with a big deep cavity, and plenty of weight around the perimeter, resulting in a high moment of inertia (MOI).

In simple terms, it means the clubhead resists twisting at impact on off-centre hits / so it is very forgiving. The deeply indented trailing edge helped reduce the surface area in contact with the turf while further increasing the perimeter weighting. Still highly useable and popular.

Ping Zing models are known for producing especially straight shots. Lee Westwood (UK Golf Pro & OBE, born 24 April 1973) played a Ping Zing set for about 8 years, wining lots of Tour events.

- have matching serial numbers on the neck.

Check the loft and see de differences between Ping Zing and Ping Eye (2, +, no plus). Zing has less loft i.e. the ball goes farter in stead of higher. Less strokes better score!
