Rocker Type

Flying V™ – A Springloaded blend of camber and rocker performance, Flying V™ offers the best of both worlds. Rocker overall, including between and outside your feet, enhances playfulness and float through pow. Underneath your feet, subtle camber zones focus edge-control for crisp snap, added pop, and power through turns.


Flex

Flex Rating: 3 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – A medium flex for easy turn initiation and forgiving landings.

Twin Flex – Having a twin flex indicates that your board is perfectly symmetrical in flexibility from tip to tail so you gain a more balanced and predictable ride.

Shape

Twin – The shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that's equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Jib, spin, stomp, and butter with a greater balance of freestyle mobility and cat-like stability no matter which way you point it.

Pro-Tip™ – A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.

Side Effects – Lengthening the surface area at the tip and tail contact points improves edge-hold and allows the board to plane easier in powder. Enjoy a livelier feel and enhanced grip on groomers along with added float for overhead days.

Scoop – This exaggerated tip and tail scooping turns the edges up for a looser, more forgiving feel that adds catch-free fun when riding everything from a knee-high box to neck-deep pow.

True Flex Super Fly II™ – Designed to target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduced weight, this core is further optimized for float in Burton's freeride focused boards, and strength in park-focused boards.

Dual Zone™ EGD™ – Engineered Grain Direction manipulates the angles and direction of wood grains in the core for superior edge-hold, response, and durability.

Jumper Cables – Jumper Cables on the NEW Process V-Rocker, NEW Déjà Vu V-Rocker, Blunt, Hate, and Social are ultra-light carbon stringers that radiate energy outward from your feet towards the tip and tail. Beyond adding amplitude to your ollies, they also create more snap when powering through turns. For maximum flight, the Jumper Cables Hi-Voltage on the Joystick, Hero, Hero Limited and Lip-Stick use carbonated rods for ultra-electrified pop and performance.


Base

Sintered Base – Compression hardened amorphous UHMW skived from the billet to create the toughest, fastest, best wax holding material around - slides best and fastest when waxed regularly to match local snow conditions

Edges

Overbite Frostbite Edges – This evolution in edge tech gives you more fang with less bang by increasing the amount of Frostbite by up to 0.75 mm. It may not sound like much, but the result is a huge increase in grip on hard, icy conditions while remaining smooth and catch-free. Exclusive to the Blender and Social.

Infinite Ride™ – This Burton-exclusive technology allows Burton to maximize pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you.
