The Elitewheels 50mm road bike wheels are designed for deployability on both flat and hilly roads. The Elitewheels carbon wheels offer an affordable option for racing bikes with disc brakes with a very good and solid quality. 

The Elite wheels carbon wheels are equipped with 28mm wide 50mm high rims with a low weight of 1715 grams, with ceramic bearings for low rolling resistance and durability. They have been extensively tested and come with extremely reliable Pillar stainless steel spokes. The wheelset is aerodynamically optimized for 25-30 mm tires and feels extremely stable in wind conditions thanks to the U-shape rim.

Partner GCN
Elitewheels is a partner of Global Cycling Network as of 2024. A well-known youtube channel within the bicycle world, which provides you with the most recent technologies within bicycles and bicycle parts. GCN conducts many product tests for different brands and concluded that Elitewheels was able to fully meet their expectations.

Rims
At Elitewheels, these wheels are designed to meet the needs of recreational cyclists. Unlike the aluminum rims that appear on most road bikes, these wheels are stronger, stiffer, much more aerodynamic and significantly lighter. In fact, wheels play the greatest role in a bicycle's aerodynamics. Unlike reducing weight elsewhere, a lighter rim saves rotating weight, providing a more agile feel and faster accelerations on the bike.

Spokes
Choosing the right spoke to build a wheel is essential. Elitewheels has chosen to use Pillar PA 1423 stainless steel spokes. They are cold forged, making them even stronger than regular spokes, allowing them to handle high tensile strength and allowing a maximum rider weight of 130kg.

Hubs
The Elitewheels wheels feature high flange hubs that achieve higher lateral stiffness and greatly improve stability. Both the front and rear wheel hubs are equipped with semi-ceramic bearings with an extremely low coefficient of friction, which saves you precious wattages. The front hub uses 6803 semi-ceramic bearings and the rear hub uses three 6803 bearings and one 6903 bearing. The larger the lower, the better the stiffness.

Semi-ceramic
The wheel leading rod uses two 6803 semi-ceramic bearings. The rear hub uses one 6903 and three 6803 semi-ceramic bearings. These large bearings offer better durability than standard bearings. By using large semi-ceramic bearings you get a more efficient bicycle, which saves you precious wattages.

Tubeless
All Elitewheels wheels are tubeless ready and equipped with tubeless rim tape. Each rim features our unique tubeless R-angle design, making mounting easier. To make mounting tubeless tires even easier, the rims are designed with special mounting edges, making inflation even possible with a floor pump.
