  • *For the European Medicines Agency, we are looking for an HR Assistant to support a wide range of HR processes and projects within an international and dynamic environment.

Role Summary

As an HR Assistant, you will support the delivery of HR strategic objectives, change management initiatives, and projects. You will perform administrative, procedural, and operational tasks, ensuring accurate, high-quality, and timely delivery within your area of expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver operational HR activities within your area of expertise;
  • Support the implementation of programmes, projects, and initiatives in compliance with the applicable legal framework;
  • Maintain and update HR databases and records in line with established standards;
  • Coordinate and manage ad-hoc requests, including workflows, reporting, and analysis;
  • Support customer satisfaction activities by identifying, mitigating, and communicating risks;
  • Contribute to the delivery of HR strategies, projects, and operational programmes;
  • Identify and support new HR initiatives, trends, and innovations;
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR IT tools to streamline processes;
  • Support the review and revision of HR policies in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Role-Specific Responsibilities

Support HR processes and administrative activities

  • Respond to staff queries, particularly related to sick leave management;
  • Coordinate occupational health support for staff and managers;
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on HR-related matters.

A fulltime, temporary job from 01-05-2026 until 15-12-2026 (contract extention is possible)

Salary range:

  • 3934,40 gross per month (5 years of experience)
  • 4451,52 gross per month (5 - 15 years of experience)
  • 5036,61 gross per month (15 years of experience or more)

Wat vragen wij?
Education

  • Post-secondary education diploma, or secondary education with access to higher education and at least 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Field of study: Communication, Psychology, Administration, or Law

Experience

  • Up to 6 years of relevant full-time professional experience;
  • Experience in administrative support, including complex procedures;
  • Experience in drafting various types of communication;
  • Experience in stakeholder management.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
