EXPERIENCED HEAD CHEF WANTED – PULMINO KRALINGEN

For our new pizza and pasta restaurant in Rotterdam-Kralingen, we are looking for an experienced head chef starting from 1 October 2026.

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary of €3,400 to €5,500, depending on experience

What we are looking for

• Proven experience as a head chef, chef de cuisine or senior chef
• Experience leading and motivating a kitchen team
• Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine; experience with pizza and pasta is a plus
• Ability to plan and organize kitchen operations independently
• Strong focus on quality, hygiene and consistency
• Experience with ordering, stock control and food cost management
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Flexibility, including evening and weekend shifts
• Good communication skills in English or Dutch; Italian is a plus

Responsibilities

• Managing the daily kitchen operations
• Preparing and overseeing the preparation of dishes
• Maintaining consistent quality and presentation
• Organizing mise en place and kitchen planning
• Supervising kitchen staff and coordinating service
• Monitoring stock, orders and food safety
• Contributing to menu development and new dishes
• Ensuring a clean, safe and professional kitchen environment
