Nouvall Engineering Services is specialized in project support for the (petro) chemical, IT and maritime industry. We provide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.

Functieomschrijving

As a Proposal and Cost Estimator, you will play an essential role in assessing project requirements and delivering precise cost estimates for the Services department. Your expertise will support the creation of persuasive proposals that align with client needs while ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

 Reviewing project specifications and requirements to define the scope accurately.
 Estimating the costs for materials, labor, equipment, and resources for proposed services.
 Analyzing the impact of scope changes or variations on overall costs.
 Working closely with the Customer Services Manager and other relevant departments to collect necessary information.
 Drafting comprehensive proposals that include cost estimates, schedules, and technical details.
 Identifying potential risks and uncertainties, and developing strategies to mitigate them.
 Performing cost and sensitivity analyses to highlight cost drivers and potential savings.
 Conducting market research to understand pricing trends within the industry.
 Keeping up to date with industry developments, technological innovations, and regulatory changes.
 Ensuring thorough documentation is maintained for all cost estimations and proposal processes.

Functie-eisen

 A Bachelor's or Master’s degree with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
 Experience in Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and Life Cycle Management (LCM) concepts, as well as cost estimation for services related to naval operations.
 Familiarity with the operation, maintenance, and project management of naval vessels.
 Strong command of English, with proficiency in Dutch considered a plus, both in writing and speaking.
 Key competencies: customer focus, attention to quality, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
 Excellent references, as a security screening will be part of the recruitment process.
 Permanent EU citizenship and a valid passport are required. Candidates with an EU (work) visa or dual EU and non-EU nationality/passport cannot be considered due to the security requirements for the project.
