Are you ready to take the next step in your career as a junior procurement specialist? This (Junior) Tactical Project Buyer position could be your ideal opportunity.

As part of an experienced purchasing team, you will play a key role in securing the products, services, and materials essential to complex shipbuilding projects. You will also manage supplier contracts and build lasting partnerships to ensure smooth project execution. Additionally, you will conduct market analysis to track price developments and industry trends within your area of expertise. Together with a team of skilled professionals, you will contribute to successful project outcomes while advancing your own development within procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the procurement cycle while adhering to internal processes and project-specific guidelines.
• Performing supplier market assessments and working on supplier development to maintain a dependable network.
• Identifying, screening, and assessing potential suppliers and subcontractors.
• Supporting supplier improvement initiatives based on qualification and evaluation results.
• Providing accurate data to support cost estimates and project budgets.
• Participating in the optimization of procurement procedures and framework agreements, while ensuring their consistent application and upkeep.

Functie-eisen

• 2+ years of procurement experience, preferably in a technical environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical (business administration) field.
• Nevi-1 and Nevi-2 certifications, or a willingness to obtain them.
• Negotiation skills, combined with assertiveness and a self-driven, well-organized approach.
• Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process.
• Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required. Candidates with EU (work) visa or with both an EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible in accordance with the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.
